Science covered Laura's presentation at ESA in Louisville

Last week our lab member Laura Agusto, PhD candidate at SWIMS, presented her work on salt marsh greenhouse gas release from crab burrows at the Ecological Society of America in Louisville. This study was featured in an online commentary on Science and highlights the high carbon dioxide release from fiddler crab burrows in bare salt marsh sediments. The work is a result of a joint project between the the Marine Biological Laboratory at The University of Chicago and SWIMS, HKU.

Well done Laura!
